InnovaTrain at the EU TRANSFORuM workshop
Innovatrain assisted in the organization of the EU-TRANSFORuM workshop on Freight, held in Basel on November 25th and 26th 2013.
In connection to the workshop, the Freight Group of TRANSFORuM visited the rail/road hub of railCare Ltd, a Swiss cargo railroad company, at Oensingen, and had a chance to witness first-hand the practical use of InnovaTrain innovative cargo systems like the ContainerMover-3000® and Containerstation-3000®.
TRANSFORuM provides a platform for stakeholders of all areas of the European Transport sector to develop a common view and strategies of how four key goals of the 2011 White Paper on Transport can be achieved. The underlying assumptions are that policy making should be based on an in-depth understanding of all stakeholders' positions and that co-ordinated action is more effective than solo attempts.
